Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing concepts to improve processes in the area of closing fixed assets, closing accounts payable and inventory accounting.
  • Implementing and documenting complex process optimizations and standardizations and ensuring process implementation.
  • Identifying risks and introducing solutions.
  • Coordinating activities with high level functional units.
  • Acting as a special contact in the area of closing assets, accounts payable and inventories.
  • Designing and implementing measures regarding process compliance.
  • Managing national and international projects with medium to high complexity focusing on closing fixed assets, closing accounts payable and inventory accounting.
  • Status reporting of your projects in front of the Central Finance side.
  •  Regular communication of project status to management and stakeholders; Coordinate migrations e.g. transfer, centralize and harmonize activities from several subsidiaries, prepare and roll out the standardized processes as part of group wide ERP-program. This includes asset migration steps design and migration support in collaboration with the operational accounting unit and relevant departments.
  • Design, plan and launch of SAP solutions and group wide standardized / harmonized processes focusing on closing fixed assets, closing accounts payable and inventory accounting with increasing level of automation.
  • Coordination and steering of business demand management.
  • Create working instructions and develop training schemes, training of employees and sharing knowledge. Holding training measures and actively attending specialized international conferences, including giving presentations.
  •  Providing functional assistance in internal/external reviews/audits.

What we expect from you:

  • Fluent English (further language skills like Czech, Hungarian or Polish are welcomed).
  • University degree in economics and at least 3 years of relevant work experience in asset accounting or an auditing company or 5 years in other accounting area with focus on IFRS (local GAAP know-how beneficial) or at least 3 years of experience in project or process management.
  • Expert knowledge of SAP Architecture related to Finance and Accounting Modules (FI, FI-AA, CO), and closing processes, expert knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience in the entire closing-related process chain with processes in fixed asset accounting, inventories and accounts payables (very good knowledge of IAS/IFRS).
  • Ability to develop and apply concepts that focus and end-to-end perspective and benefit/customer value.
  • Experience in international projects, especially transition projects is a big plus.
  • Project management skills in the field of accounting and closing with close link to IT (in best case).
  • Excellent communication-, presentation- and moderation skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Enthusiasm for internationally-oriented projects and intercultural teams including business trips within Europe.
