General Ledger Expert with German
Your responsibilities will include:
- You will have the opportunity to perform a range of closing preparation, accrual, and intercompany processes that will keep you engaged and challenged.
- In addition, you will be responsible for balance sheet and profit and loss account reconciliations, recording HR accounting topics and other provisions in the accounting system, and generating statements of equity and reports on changes in provisions.
- You will also be responsible for performing controls for the internal control system to ensure compliance and correctness of the General Ledger, as well as assisting auditors with their queries.
- In addition, you will have day-to-day interaction with a respective internal customer.
What we expect from you:
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German
- At least a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or other relevant studies
- Experience in general ledger accounting or a few years of experience in AP/AR.
- Knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS is a plus, as is proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferred) and MS Excel.
- A detail-oriented and self-organized personality is a must, as are customer-friendly communication skills and problem-solving skills.
