Data Analyst Intern – Process Mining & Analytics (Part-time)
We are expanding our internal process mining and analytics capabilities and building long term talent within our organization. This internship is ideal for a Master’s student in IT, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a related field who wants hands on experience with modern data technologies and real business processes.
As an intern, you will work closely with experienced data analysts and engineers, including a dedicated onsite buddy who will support you throughout your journey. You will gradually develop skills in Python development, SQL, process mining, and Celonis while contributing to real analytics tasks from day one.
This role is also designed as a potential long-term collaboration, with a clear pathway toward a full time Junior Data Analyst / Python Developer role after graduation.
Data Analyst Intern – Process Mining & Analytics (Part-time)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support process mining and analytics initiatives using Celonis and internal tools.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data transformation, automation, and analytical workflows.
- Prepare, optimize, and validate datasets using SQL.
- Improve and maintain dashboards, data models, and analytical assets.
- Participate in troubleshooting, testing, and quality assurance of analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with senior analysts on ad hoc analyses, reporting, and business insights.
- Continuously learn and apply Celonis, process mining techniques, and internal best practices.
What we expect from you:
- Master’s student in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of Python (data manipulation, scripting, automation).
- Practical experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving mindset, and attention to detail.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn Celonis and modern analytics technologies.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work in a team oriented environment.
- English at a working proficiency level.
Nice to Have
- Experience with process mining, Celonis, or event log based analytics.
- Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
- Understanding of finance or end to end business processes.
- Interest in automation, workflow orchestration, or data engineering.
